Ted Alexandro: Bootlegs, CCP and the Sacrament of Marriage

My new half-hour special debuts on Friday night and already I'm seeing bootleg copies on the streets of NYC. There on the blanket, nestled between copies of "Dave Chappelle's Block Party" and "Capote" was "Comedy Central Presents Ted Alexandro". Please, people- I understand wanting to be the first to see something but whatever happened to postponing gratification? Think of my special like sex, the longer you wait the more Jesus loves you. Speaking of waiting, this week is significant for me not only because of my special but I am finally choosing a wife. I decided I did not want to sit through another special alone so I will spend the week deciding whom to wed. She and I will go to the Justice of the Peace Friday evening where we will become man and wife. Then I will take her out for some type of ethnic food after which we will go home and consummate the marriage, right after watching my half-hour special. I will know she loves me for me because we wed before my special even aired, unless of course she had seen a bootleg copy in which case I would have serious doubts about our future together.
