A charter school in Utah tried to commission the host of the Daily Show to speak at its annual gala. Instead, they ended up booking Jon Alan Stewart, Chicago's resident professional wrestler/politician/writer/motivational speaker. Poor Jonnie Al got a swift axe once school officials realized their mistake. Just goes to show that fact-checking is essential before you print those invites (thanks to the Best Week Ever blog for the tip).
