Davidcross

In a single stroke of genius, David Cross has seized upon the comical-musical-interweb zeitgeist and covered the infamous Bank of America cover of U2's "One." Check out this footage from the Modest Mouse show (thanks to moonlighting law student/culture blogger AngryCitizen) featuring Johnny Marr of The Smiths(?!) fame on guitar:

Another prescient fan snagged this reel of Cross' cover from the Hot Tub variety show. Rocketh the f**k on, Dave.

I really like David Cross, but I can only understand about 20% of what he's singing.

david cross is a horrible singer. funny idea (kind of- even though best week ever and the soup covered it about 3 weeks ago). horrible execution.
