That dirty scandal rag  The New York Times has confirmed a report from fact-based mainstream media cabal the Associated Press that Bill O'Reilly and Stephen Colbert will swap appearances on each other's shows on Thursday, January 18th. Finally, Papa Bear enters the Eagle's Nest while Colbert meets his sorta-maker on the Factor.

Sayeth O'Reilly: "I'm really looking forward to speaking to a man who owes his entire career to me."

Quipped Colbert: "I look forward to the evening. It is an honor to speak face-to-face with a broadcasting legend, and I feel the same way about Mr. O'Reilly."

Gird your loins, Nation. It's party time.

I am sure you saw what happened tonight (6-20-07) on Countdown with Keith Olbermann. He attacked Bill O for warning americans about the dangers of bear attacks instead of the bombings in Iraq. I think Steven Colbert has to defend O'Reilly especially since he was warning us about Bear attacks.

Has the world turned upside down? O'Reilly on Colbert's show will certainly help out Colbert's ratings

i cant wait to see this…but there has to be a catch—is o'reilly really doing this thing straight up? or did stephen have to agree to stay in character or something like that?
