Buried in the second half of the LA Times' Scriptland section (skip the bit about the wicked queah sequel to the Depahted) comes news of the follow-up to CC Insider favorite "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle."
The original concept called for the amigos to invade Amersterdam until studio suits nixed the idea. So where are Harold and Kumar going to this time? Why, Shreveport, Louisiana and the rest of the post 9/11 Deep South, of course.
The as-yet-untitled project started principal shooting last week. Look for former Daily Show correspondents Rob Corddry and Ed Helms among the cast, plus SNL's Andy Samberg and the return of Neil Patrick Harris.
