LepootEver since The Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes called it quits ten years ago, everyone's been lamenting the fall of the comic strip. Sure, there are some great ones online, but still: these days it's hard to open the funny pages and not succumb to a desperate bout of trichotillomania.

But there's hope! Especially if you're lucky enough to get your hands on a hard copy of The Onion.

It's called Postage Stamp Funnies and it's written by Shannon Wheeler of Too Much Coffee Man fame. It's sick, twisted, appropriately postage stamp-sized, and freakin' awesome.

And though The Onion doesn't have 'em online just yet, we did manage to find a couple.

I love Shannon Wheeler, it's probably the reason I pick up the Onion.

I have to ask: You listed Achewood as one of the great online comics. Why? I'm honestly curious, not criticizing. Why do you list it as one of the great ones?
