WINNER CC InDecider: You Make the Joke Challenge – Obama is Smokin'!

Last week, we announced our first You Make the Call Joke Challenge, and asked you to deliver some advice to Senator Barack Obama to help him quit smoking before the Democratic primaries.
It is now my distinct honor to announce that the winner is Max Barshled, who actually advised the Obama against giving up the disgusting habit. His reasoning?
"To quit smoking before the job is done would only serve to embolden the lung cancer."
That's an excellent point, Max. Thank you for pointing it out. That cancer is just waiting for the good Senator to show some sign of weakness. He needs to fight it in his lungs before it spreads and he has to fight it everywhere else.
Runners up:
- Every President needs an addiction. George Washington's was ice cream (he spent $200 of 1776 dollars in one summer), JFK's was into pretty girls (woohoo! Marylin Monroe!), Bill Clinton was into fast food (bet you thought I was going to say 'ugly girls'). Bush gave up all his addictive behavior, and look where it got us. I say, Barack Obama, Light Up! The more you smoke, the better off we'll be! (Steven McCaw)
- Toss out that cancer stick – burn a Bush to the ground. (Gary Lutgen)
- To appear presidential, he should "stay the course" and continuing smoking. If his health doesn't improve as a result, he should consider, not so much an escalation, but a surge in the number of cigarettes he smokes. For reasons the rest of us need not be burdened with, that should put an end to the smoking. (Dan)
You can take a look at all the entries here. If yours didn't show up this week, take heart. After all, tomorrow is another week.
