Bernie Mac to Cap Stand-Up Career
Listen up, America. Bernie Mac's pulling a Michael Jordan/Barry Sanders/(insert other analogous star leaving at top of his game) after announcing his retirement from the stand-up stage.
Mac told Dave Letterman on the "Late Show" that he'll hang up his mic act after shooting the film "The Whole Truth, Nothing but the Truth, So Help Me Mac," adding "I'm going to put it in theaters and it's going to be 30 years for me, and I'm going to call it."
BTW, is it me or is Ron White the Bernie Mac of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, aka the one guy everybody loves regardless of feelings about Larry the Cable Guy/Cedric the Entertainer?
