Our Dumb Century
We're all relieved and excited to hear of The Onion's recent foray into the world of funny-internet-video-hahas. However, when moving onward into the future, it's just as important to maintain a healthy sense of the past. And it's with such sentiment that I must address the following: the increasing number of people I encounter who have never read (or even heard of) Our Dumb Century.
If you're one such person (and my heart goes out to you), it's a collection of Onion headlines spanning the history of the twentieth century, and it's perhaps the most consistently brilliant, laugh out loud hilarious humor publication I've ever read. Some favorites:

And of course…

…so. Let's put this nonsense to an end, shall we?
(Not the new Onion News Network nonsense, or the Our Dumb Century nonsense, but the nonsense about not having yet read the Our Dumb Century nonsense.)
