We've been following the evolution of the new Lewis Black series "The Root of All Evil" from the Craig's List audience announcement to the blog recap of the show. Last week, Comedy Central announced that we are picking up the courtroom-style pilot that puts pop culture on trial with help from guest comedians like Patton Oswalt and Paul F. Tomkins. Congratulations to the world!
After the jump, another description of the show taping, sent in by a reader who was in the audience.
(Sent in by reader David. Have stuff like this? Send it to us!)
"My girlfriend and I attended the taping of the "Root of All Evil" pilot in Hollywood on Thursday, April 5th. All I can say is: wow, it was truly hilarious. Many of the gags were just as funny the second (or in some cases even the third) take. I must say that the Chick Flicks vs. Video Games debate was more a more polished performance by the guest comedians than was the Dick Cheney vs Paris Hilton, but both "mock trials" were hysterical, with obviously a lot of improvised material to augment a slick script that the comedians had prepared and placed on tele-prompters. It is original and has great potential."
Who knows where to download XRumer 5.0 Palladium?
Help, please. All recommend this program to effectively advertise on the Internet, this is the best program!
Looking forward to Lewis coming to The Tennessee theater soon.
If he's smart he'll tape it with the restored decor.
Lewis is a complete GENIUS!!!!!!!!! His comedian budies not so much But I would fuck Andrea Savage!
For new topics, could you do the one about Hell's Kitchen? Chef Gordon Ramsay is the biggest jerk of all. He's pure evil!
