Paul Scheer on David Letterman
This clip of Paul Scheer on The Late Show with David Letterman is a fantastic example of what it must be like for a not-famous person to suddenly be a kinda-famous person after years and years of being more talented than most famous people. If you watch Scheer, you'll notice the pronounced lack of douchebagginess, the strong expression of "What the f**k am I doing here?" on his face, the suit that almost fits.
Scheer, though only 31, spent a long time working his way up from an improv student at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to D-level celebrity commentator of B-level celebrities on Best Week Ever to whatever he is now with The Human Giant.
When success comes that slowly and steadily, it must be somewhat surreal to find yourself finally there.
