NEWS TIP: Another big AIG scam: AIG has been in the elderly financial scam for years. Through agents, they hold "free seminars" and write trusts, and trick elderly people into buying annuities with their life savings— by telling them these are "life insurance policies." The agents (AIG/SunAmerica) persuade seniors to liquidate safe investments and to put the money into buying AIG annuities. AIG has written the annuities to be so complicated that lawyers have to consult experts to figure them out. The annuities mature well beyond the time(s) that elderly people need the money for their care. I can put you into touch with an attorney in San Francisco, who has represented elderly against AIG, and AIG settled, disgorging all churned feees, and refunding the value of the annuities.

Since it appears Paul Wolfowitz will soon be looking for work, and since the Daily Show would score major points, why not get out ahead of everyone else and hire him to be a political correspondent for the Daily Show. His quirky sense of humor and obvious star quality would be a huge asset for the Show.
