Hot Fuzz Director To Direct Scott Pilgrim?
Who wants to help spread some rumors? According to Bryan Lee O'Malley himself, the movie adaptation of his fun and excellent comic Scott Pilgrim might be helmed by Edgar Wright, who directed both Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. From Bryan's livejournal:
Q: Oh, yeah, is there a movie deal or something? What's going on with the movie deal or whatever?
A: Universal holds the option, yes. Edgar Wright (of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz) wants to direct it. I don't know what's going on with it at the moment. Nothing official.
You hear that? It's OFFICIALly nothing official.
