In one of the more bizarre products to come out of the ghoulish trading card industry, Upper Decks' 2007 Spectrum Baseball contains a checklist of autographed inserts worthy of the Surreal Life, or at least Celebrity Fit Club. Leif Garrett, Catherine "Daisy Duke" Bach, Lou Gossett Jr., Kristy McNichol, Barry Williams, Todd Bridges . . . verily, an IMDB/Wikipedia treasure trove for all you youngsters. Even better, some of the celebs have even included notable roles/quotes in some of their signatures.
For example, David Faustino signs his as either "Bud Bundy" or "Grand Master B," while his "Married With Children" mom Katey Sagal alternates between "Peg Bundy" and "Leila." Interestingly enough, Ernie Hudson opted to go with The Crow instead of "Winston Zeddemore" from Ghostbusters. Maybe he's peeved that Arsenio Hall stole his gig for the cartoon.
And then there's Carrot Top, who punctuates his John Hancock with "@ the Luxor," in case you didn't know that the world's most famous prop comic is the talent in residence at Las Vegas' hotel/casino. And you call yourself a Carrot Top fan. Well, now you can own a piece of comedy history.
Peep the rest of the autograph list or preorder a box of the cardboard here. I think there are also some baseball player cards or something.
