Knockedup
The Onion AV Club has a back and forth between critics Josh Rabin and Scott Tobias today. The subject is improvisation and its effect on the future of comedy films. Rabin argues that despite recent instances in which improv serves to make a movie better, on the whole the trend is a dangerous one that will… I don't know, cause the universe to implode? Meanwhile, Tobias says Knocked Up and its ilk are part of a renaissance of high-quality comedies fueled in large part by talented ad-libbers.

I tend to agree with Tobias on this one, but its mostly because we have similar surnames. What do you think? Is improv good or bad? Read the piece and stop back here to leave your opinion in the comments.
