Minor League Baseball's Single A Charleston RiverDogs (part of the vile New York Yankees farm system) welcome native son Steven Colbert to throw out the ceremonial first pitch against the Savannah Sand Gnats on Saturday night, July 7th. He will be chucking a pint of Ben & Jerry's AmeriCone Dream in lieu of a ball. Jerry Greenfield of B&J's will be catching. Stephen will also be participating in the team's radio broadcast. After years and years of being an "Everything But The …" fan, Americone Dream has finally lured me away. It is light and fluffy but also tastes great, and the perfect summer flavor. I may switch back to "Everything But The …" in the fall, but right now this is my favorite B&J favor by far!
I don't want to know how and with what you imagine Stephen could possibly fill your empty ice cream containers.
I tried Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream ice cream over a month ago and, WOW, that's really good stuff! Now I have five empty cartons and I wonder, if I send them to The Colbert Report, will Stephen refill them for me? Thank you very much!
