Behind The Scenes With Stella
For all you folks who have been experiencing a Wain relapse of sorts–what, with the premiere of the new movie, and the launch of his awesome new web series–I suggest the following: buy the Stella Season One DVD.
Yes, Comedy Central gives me money every other week. And sure, if you're a fan you've probably seen all the episodes already. BUT! Many folks don't know about the special features, the best being a wonderful forty-five minute conversation amongst Sho, Wain & Black, sitting down on their couch and just talking about how post-State Stella came to be. It's tangential and ridiculous of course, but it's also really informative and interesting, from how they started doing their monthly downtown variety show, to how David became the major force behind getting their now famous "Stella Shorts" produced.
A must-have, my friends. And here's how you can must-have it for yourself.
