They can't bring them home themselves, but they do comment on the irony of the whole situation, which helps us all to deal with the reality of it, military or civilian. To all who complain I think you need to get a grip. I come from a military family, my grandad served in WWII and Korea, my father served in Vietnam, and most recently I lost a cousin in Iraq. The things they said helped them most during their tours of duty where letters from friends and family, the red cross, and the USO. If this in anyway brings a smile to one man's face it is worth it. I really liked seeing Rob interact with the troops and getting their honest opinion, supporting the troops is one thing, supporting the war is another. Thank you to a military officer for not being afraid to show up for the troops and allowing them to have a voice and opinion. I loved Rob's Iraq coverage.
