Beginning today, you can listen to a free preview of the audio-book version of Stephen Colbert's forthcoming I Am America! (And So Can You) at Audible.com. Naturally, it's read by the author himself, as no other human could possibly do vocal justice to the written words of Stephen Colbert.
The clip is embedded in a page on Audible.com, but I would imagine a resourceful person could look at the page source and find the URL to the mp3 for downloading and playing on one's favorite digital listening device. You could also dub it over footage of anthropomorphic bald eagles baking apple pies, stitching American flags and eating non-anthropomorphic bald eagles, but you'd run the risk of having your heart explode from a patriotism overdose.
