It even points out the oft forgotten detail that the strike, in addition to defending writers' rights is having a hurtful effect on actors. What I don't understand is why this even had to happen? My understanding is that the writers are demanding that they be paid a portion of the profit from sales of their work that is sold on the Internet, right? Well, how come their union wrote a deal for them that didn't include "all sales of a product, regardless of how or where it is sold".
