Chappelle's Record Shattered… by Chappelle

Remember back in April, when Dave Chappelle made headlines for setting a new record for the longest standup performance ever? Yeah, me too. Anyway, the record was sadly broken Sunday night. The new champion of marathon standup? Dave Chappelle:
The 34-year-old comedian topped his record of six hours and seven
minutes, set in mid-April, by taking to the stage Sunday and telling
jokes for six hours and 12 minutes."Dave was determined to keep
his record because he recently heard that Dane Cook was planning on
trying to break (his) record," club owner Jamie Masada said Monday.
It's an accomplishment to be sure, but Chappelle shouldn't rest on his laurels. Word has it none other than Dave Chappelle is looking to take Dave Chappelle down by setting a new record. Whether Dave Chappelle has the same Dave-Chappellian stamina as Dave Chappelle remains to be seen though.
