12 Days of Breakout Comedians: Day 1: God's Pottery

(In celebration of the best year for comedy in recent memory, and also sort of because of the 12 Days of Christmas or whatever, we've chosen 12 comedians and comedy teams we think broke out in 2007. Each weekday between now and January 2, we'll celebrate one comedian or comedy team we got really into this year. (Note: because we'd like to focus on comedy you can go and see live, in person, nobody in Judd Apatow's crew is going to be on this list, even though they are also awesome.)

12 Days of Breakout Comedians, Day 1: God's Pottery

God's Pottery happens to have just released a digital-only EP, God's Pottery: Live at Comix for Comedy Central Records, but won't let that exclude them from this list! God's Pottery is a musical parody (yeah, we said it) duo that describes themselves this way:
"God's Pottery is a Christian
acoustic duo formed to spread the Word while addressing the issues
facing today's Youth and the Spiritual Community at large. Members
Jeremiah Smallchild and Gideon Lamb use their unique blend of music,
