"Jay Mohr (Ghost Whisperer, Jerry Maguire and Last
Comic Standing) and TurboTax have teamed up to launch "TaxLaugh.com" today, an
online competition for budding comics to prove to America that "Comedy is hard,
taxes are easy".  One of the last things people associate with doing their taxes
is laughter.  Through this competition, Jay and TurboTax will show that while
taxes are not a joke, they are arguably easier than making one.

Contest Details Include:

  • Budding comics can create and submit an up to
    three-minute comedy video at TaxLaugh.com. It can be stand-up, sketch,
    alternative or musical comedy, as long as it’s about taxes.
  • These videos will be posted on YouTube and Mohr will
    help choose the winner.
  • The winner of the competition takes home a
    $10,000 prize
  • Winner also has the opportunity to open for Mohr at
    an Improv comedy club on April 3, 2008
