The brain behind The Office and Extras has just recruited cranky father but all-around comedy pro Louis CK for his first feature film. Mr. Lucky will play the best friend to Ricky Gervais' protagonist in a world where lying doesn't exist. Let's hope the movie will be at least as funny as Idiocracy. Let's hope the movie doesn't get buried in the slag heap like Idiocracy.
BTW, guess who's not that fond of Gervais, Sacha Baron Cohen and the guys behind Little Britain? Why, some blogger crank at The Guardian, who dedicated an entire column to declare that "The fall of western civilisation is pretty much a fait accompli." Take that, Anglophile comedy fans. One of their own thinks your taste in funny is SHITE.
