Comedy_gallagherOkay, we're a little late on this one, but you'll have to forgive us. We've been sifting through the INCREDIBLE tales of the Gallagher show last Friday, and it certainly leaves us both wishing we were there, and incredibly grateful that we weren't.

Thanks to our friends at The Apiary and The Comics Comic and their detailed accounts, we've been able to piece together some terrifying highlights from the evening, which include a recipe for "pickled whorebread." We'll save that for the end.

-Since Gallagher could not sell out the 300 seat theater, an opening act of four comedians took the stage and endured constant interruptions from Gallagher himself, who tried to steal the spotlight at one point by taking off his shirt and wearing a goofy hat. Pictures here.

-Gallagher alienated and eventually removed a chatty couple in the audience. This did not resolve itself quickly, and led to a showdown between the irate boyfriend and Gallagher. Footage after the bump.

-According to Gallagher, "This is the smartest show you'll ever go to." This was in the midst of his apparently low-brow set filled with jokes about gay people and handicaps, and prior to his smashing things with a large wooden mallet.

-And here it is: Early in the evening, when the first opening comedian was doing his set, Gallagher rushed up and advised him to go right for the jokes, and then gave an example. "How do you make pickled whorebread?" Gallagher asked. "Dill dough."

Gallagher is the same wonderful comedian, just the everyday person have become more of an asshole than they were back in the early 80's
