Poster_540Hey burgeoning stand-up comedians, think you have it rough playing open mic nights or the cruise circuit? Just read the story of Lebanese comic Nemr Abou Nassar, who's trying to start up a stand-up culture in Lebanon with an act that's free of religious and political references.

Hey, YOU try to crack Islamic and Jewish jokes when you're bordered by Syria and Israel.

"In Lebanon, we still
don't have the maturity level to openly discuss and interpret [religion and politics]," he said. "It's too risky if someone says the wrong thing even
when they were nervous and they didn't intend it."

Thanks for posting this up!

It has been one hell of a ride, but thankfully the scene is really starting to explode here :)

Thanks for the support!

One Love,

Nemr Abou Nassar
