I was there for Robby's show and it was Hilarious and more important it was why he did it that made it so great!

Robby definitely did preform for the whole 10 hours, I am one of his comedy partners and I stayed for the entire show. While Dane may have had a comedy club packed out for his record that isn't exactly an option for lesser known comedians especially in the Phoenix scene. He never ran out of things to say and kept us entertained the entire time, parts of which were histerical.

I live in Phoenix and I've seen Robby Wagner perform. He's actually really funny. 10 hours of material seems a little outrageous, but good for him for doing a charity show to raise awareness for stroke victims.

the point is that Robby Wagner's record was not made for Guiness – it was a charity show to bring awareness to the pain of stroke victims – it had a completely different meaning so there is no point in getting all huffy about the nature of the show – i bet the guffaws were really rolling up in Canada too … as Scott said – there is only so much funny anyone can do

7 hours, 8 hours, and 10 hours? Anything over a couple of hours can't seriously be that funny anymore. These shows are way too long. If you ask me, they all probably weren't that great. But, Wagner's 10 hour wins.

Also note our record was picked up by UPI, As it Happens a flagship CDN radio show heard round the world, Winnipeg Free Press, Winnipeg Sun, as well as news outlets in other Canadian provinces. I have yet to see one secondary media source on Mr. Wagner's claim that his ten hour event was a legitimate standup performance by a peer recognized full time professional standup comic. There has to be some criteria or anyone could find a stage and perform a talk a thon.

We question the silence of the 10 hour record until after we asserted our desire. Why is there no media on this event and why is the vanity press release issued April 1 and not March 10 the day after this 10 hour show. We do not question the fact that Mr. Wagner was on stage for 10 hours but rather that it was a public performance at a professional level with quality having some criteria rather than a ten hour talking marathon with some giggles.

We have submitted our claim to Guiness and will know next week
