They are both unique in their own ways, and will be better suited to learn more about each other's cultures, and we should do the same as viewers. ANd now.. With him being in speedracer and getting the lead in Wachowski's Ninja assasin he will be bigger then jet li. But you can't say that he's exactly influential. He's brought a great deal of attention to the Asian world of pop, but to be honest, his music is not revolutionary in any sense. It's like Justin Timberlake done Korean style. (And I say that as someone who has heard a lot of his music.) I commend him for making himself a star greater than any other asian has these days, but he shouldn't really be at the top of the polls. That is the work of his huge Asian fanbase. Truth be told, in an online poll, the odds are seriously against everyone who is not a hot Asian popstar. Keep in mind the immense world population of Asians, and how many of those use the internet. (Starcraft, anyone?) Colbert is doing the ridiculous thing of outwardly asking for support because the online poll itself is a ridiculous measure of influence.
