I don't know about you, but I kind of loved Louis CK's HBO series Lucky Louie. It got funnier with each new episode, and it was always clear that the people involved were dedicated to creating something original. I'll always contend that the show was on the verge of greatness, but never got a second season to achieve it. So you can imagine how happy this scoop from Punchline makes me:

C.K. has just inked a deal with CBS wherein he will executive produce, co-write and co-create a new sitcom with former Louie co-star Pamela Adlon.

The pair will play a longtime married couple struggling with their brood of kids.

First of all, carrying Pamela Adlon over from Lucky Louie is a great move. She's hilarious and they have outstanding chemistry. Second, it'll be interesting to see what a Louis CK show will look like with the constraints of network TV. Though, I even liked Pootie Tang, so I'm pretty sure I'd be a fan of pretty much anything the dude serves up.
