Colbert is great. And is usually right on point. But this time I think it was rather underhanded of Stephen to do that to Clinton. In my opinion Edwards stole the show. It's always the same thing with Obama, never anything new or even real. But I guess I'm one of the few who believe that. All the news media and so many people are so smitten with this guy and I really don't get it.

It seems people are so easily swayed, taken in by someone saying "Change" and "Hope" 80 billion times. Don't get me wrong, Clinton is no better; she has often voted against my beliefs in the past and I don't trust her either. But ya know, If people would have paid attention in the beginning to ALL of the candidates and not let the media decide who our 2 remaining candidates would be because it was the "best story" to have White Vs. Black, Man Vs. Woman, we might have actually gotten somewhere in this election. Frankly, now I think it might be too late and we'll just get screwed again.

And yes, it does matter that Obama sat in a church listening to barely disguised hate in the guise of Christianity for nearly 20 years. Maybe if you lived in the South as I unfortunately do, you would understand that part of Obama's character a bit better. As a kid me and my friends got jumped on numerous occasions just for having blue or green hair and being different. We were beaten up by the same type of supposedly Christian black youths that believe just as Reverend Wright does. Wright's church gave Farachan an award for "preaching truth" for goodness sake! So it IS an issue and a major one at that.

The best thing my Mother ever taught me was that if the majority of the people believe something's right, 9 times out of 10 it's wrong. Case in point Bush. Case in point Obama.

I'm for Edwards and have been since the get. He is the one who might have actually changed something. But everyone was too busy watching the Clinton/Obama show.

So congratulations, you all got what you wanted. Let's see where it gets us now.

It was great seeing how the show had supported and endorsed Hillary. As progressive and logically advanced as your show is, it allowed many to be properly influenced by bringing a comical reality of our candidates. If only more would be able to correctly interpret where the witty expert's opinions reside. Hillary, I too believe in you. Thank you Colbert and Hillary for standing to make a difference.

We love you Stephen Colbert!!!!Our entire family watches you faithfully through AFN in Germany (we are an Army family). There are a # of soldiers that are ready for CHANGE out here!!! It is so sad to see how horrible Sen. Obama gets blasted by Fox News and a lot of others, lately…. We were so happy to see that "hope" is still alive…thank you, thank you, thank you…

i would like to believe that the american public arent stupid but they keep trying to convince me otherwise, case in point, Jane: He has no time to go to events???!!! You damn fool, why do you think he could not show up in the first place? He was at another event. The difference is, he is not so desperate as Hillary, He has his priorities, and while a comedy show might be funny and all, He is in North Carolina where it matters. Get A Brain, or dont, and vote for RObot Clinton.

Because the american people aren't stupid, Jane. People who use things like Rev. Wright, quotes out of context, etc. to create their political arguments are simply illogical thinkers. These kinds of tactics may have worked in the past but people are smarter than that now. They tired of this kind of nonsense. If you don't get it by now, you never will.

As usual the media whether news or comedy have to make Hillary look bad. that was really a put down to have Barack on like that. He never has time to go to events but he always seems to get the good end of the stick. Why can't the American public see through him?

Genius. I was surprised to see The Colbert Report be an advertising vehicle for the Clinton campaign. Then the episode wrapped up. I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. I imagine that she would have wanted to kick Stephen in the balls after that show aired…

I was very dissapointed that Barack didn‚Äôt appear on your show. I was sharing my hopes that Barack would walk on you show unannounced. My sadness overwhelmed me when Hillary came on the way I wanted Obama too. But Alas, you brought me to tears at the end when Barack Obama came on. Thank You.
