Hillary Clinton was pretty confident going into today's West Virginia primary, but apparently not confident enough to let The Daily Show into her press bubble (sounds like my honeymoon!). From Politico:

The crew at Clinton's Sunday night rally, which included Daily Show correspondent  Jason Jones, shot footage of Jim Axelrod, CBS News' White House correspondent.

A member of the crew told Politico that the Clinton campaign at first
offered Jones et al a ride on its traveling press bus from the Eleanor
rally to the Charleston hotel where the press and campaign staff is
staying. But the campaign later reneged, according to the crew member.

Well it makes sense. The Clinton people know what's up. You let Jones in there and he'll be blowing the lid off her socks with the ruffles in no time.

I agree with Jeanette. Hillary Clinton is not exempt from criticism or jokes just because she's female- that would be sexist. And they in no way exempt the other candidates from it, either. I see no sexism present.

(I'm also a woman and definitely a feminist)

If you've watched the Daily Show, you'd know full well that they make fun of Obama and McCain. Didn't you see the one they did recently where they mercilessly ripped into McCain's proposed solution for global warming? I'm a woman for the record, and I think you need cool down.

Hillary faces enough sexism as it is without you crying wolf.

I am not watching comedy central/The Daily Show any more until he stops dissing Hillary Clinton. Talk about sexism! would he deal with Obama that way? I'm just waiting, and waiting to hear him dissing Obama.

And what about McCain? Seems as if there's a lot of love there for McCain. And giving Feith a lot of time.

What a waste of time.

Not in my interest or in the interest of 51% of the population - women!

And I thought Jon Stewart, a graduate of William and Mary, was a thoughtful person.
