Jim Carrey has signed up to costar on a new HBO comedy that focuses on an LA comedy club. The show will center around Lisa Lampanelli, whose character is modeled after Mitzi Shore and serves as den mother to a group of difficult comedians.
Details are vague at this point, but we believe that Carrey will star as an elephant named Horton, who through his wisdom saves an entire civilization which nobody else can see or hear.
