Before he died, George Carlin taped an interview for Make 'Em Laugh, a six-part documentary about comedy. The movie's set to air on PBS this Fall, but the producers have just released footage from Carlin's shoot.
There's a lot more information about the documentary in this Current article. It sounds like it's going to be pretty great. Hopefully more clips will be released online as the air-date gets closer.

What will we do without George to point out the truth, the funny truth.
Just the other day when I heard that they are recalling license plates with WTF on them becasue of what that means in texting language, I thought what would George say? How would George make that funny. I mean really it's just sad, but George could make us laugh at the sadness and absurdity of ourselves. I'm glad to see this PBS special come up. He left us with something new to look forward too. Isn't he modest in this interview. He was my John Lennon or Elvis. he was my hero. We'll miss you George.
