When I was like ten, I watched The Legend of Billy Jean. There's this scene in it where a young Yeardley Smith is thought to have been shot, but it turns out she just got her first period. I didn't understand what was happening though, because when the girls in my class learned about periods, the boys had to go out and play softball. Don't worry though, I did eventually find out what menstruation was a couple years ago. Anyway, Yeardley Smith is 44 today. Here she is as Lisa Simpson.
