Pet Owner John McCain's Advantage Over Pet Hater Barack Obama

Finally! A presidential poll from the Associated Press that's not totally retarded. And by "not totally retarded," I mean "totally, totally retarded"…

An AP-Yahoo News poll found that pet owners favor McCain
over Obama 42 percent to 37 percent, with dog owners particularly in
McCain's corner.

"I think a person who owns a pet is a more compassionate person –
caring, giving, trustworthy. I like pet owners," said Janet Taylor of
Plymouth, Mass. Taylor, who described herself as a retired stay-at-home
wife, owns two cats, Lady Jane Taylor and Mr. Tommy Katz.

Wait a minute, she has one male and one female cat, and they have
different last names. That means they're not married and living in sin.
Who knows what other deviant skeletons lie in Ms. Taylor's closet. She
should be an Obama supporter.

Richard Powell, 79, of Spokane, Wash., whose dog passed
away last fall, said if a person owns a pet, that "tells you that
they're responsible at least for something, for the care of something."

This guy's not even responsible enough to keep his dog alive, so why are we listening to his opinion?

On the other hand, maybe he has a point. Since Barack Obama has
never bought a little animal for his two daughters to dress up like a
doll and bring into the back yard to take shits, we have absolutely no way of knowing if he's responsible or not.
