Chris Rock's Voice to Bring Men to Hallmark Cards

Eurweb reports that Hallmark has licensed various bits of Chris Rock's stand-up for their greeting cards. As the cards open, an audio file will greet the reader with Rock's voice. This could be one of the greatest combinations in history, pitting the raunch of Rock's humor against the lacy doilies and calligraphy of an everyday sympathy card. It appears that any explicit language will be "bleeped" out to protect the sweet, pure ears of other drug store shoppers who are buying cigarettes and condoms.
Webcomic Achewood predicted that this would someday happen, and has responded with a manly line of greeting cards such as, "Dogg It Must Feel Sick As Hell to Receive a Card From a Dude."
It's too early to know if either effort will bring the coveted 18-34 male demographic into the greeting card fold. Men of this age might be more likely to send greeting cards if they wrote, addressed, stamped and sent themselves and were somehow integrated with an Xbox.
