FX Puts On the Testees
According to the Futon Critic, who is either a critic of futons or sits on a futon, in which case he/she must be quite uncomfortable, and thus critical, Fox spinoff FX has acquired the rights to a half hour comedy by Kenny Hotz (of Kenny vs. Spenny fame) called Testees. The show follows the trials and tribulations of two product subjects who work for a company called TESTICO.
It's weird, I feel like they're hunting for a joke somewhere. Like they're pecking around for it. They're groping and it's getting harder and harder. But if they don't get to the point, if they forget about the meat and two vegetables, they'll never grab the audience by the short, dark and curlies.
Word is it might be filmed in Scotrun, PA.
Look for the first episode in early October.
