The idea of personified fonts sounds doesn't really sound hilarious, does it? It seems more like something I would've encountered in AP English. The joke there is I didn't take AP English. The other joke is I think fonts are part of an English curriculum. The third and final joke is I never learned to read. But the real joke is on all of us, because personified fonts? They're hilarious after all.
