Michael Ian Black sat down with the Emerald City's Post Intelligencer and talked about his new book, "My Custom Van … and 50 Other Mind-Blowing Essays That Will Blow Your Mind All Over Your Face," available now.
The author explained the book's main theme of awesomeness and the joys of being dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle in Mexico.
As a comment to all the interviewers out there, it would be best to forgo the question "were you on drugs when you wrote this"?
Drugs do not make people better or funnier writers, unless you are writing about watching MST3K at 3 AM after eating a Taco Bell 7-layer burrito. Or addiction memoirs, which are, of course, hysterical.
