At Comic-con this weekend attendees were treated to a screening of Fanboys, a comedy that's been about 200 years in the works, focusing on five nerds who break into the Skywalker Ranch to get a peak at Star Wars Episode I. Among the other stars is Kristen Bell, here dressed as Leia Organa from Episode VI, which is a win-win for everybody.

In a twist of life-imitates-art-imitates-other-stuff, this film has been recut several times due to a disagreement between the director, Kyle Newman and Harvey and Bob Weinstein, who serve as Executive Producer/Sith Lords. Due to pressure from fans, the Weinsteins caved and left in a little sub plot involving cancer. You see, Facebook groups and email petitions, you really can change the world. I'd invite all of you to join my Facebook Group "Get Kristen Bell to Strip for No Reason During Fanboys."

The film involves the usual comic book suspects you'd imagine appearing–Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes and Seth Rogan–plus some old hands of the space wars like Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and William "Hardest Working Man in Show-Business" Shatner.
