Rush, Nas, Toby Keith, Crosby Stills and Nash, they're all superstars, and it was great to see them on The Colbert Report. But, you have to understand, I'm a 30-year-old white dork, so Apples in Stereo is more my cup of tea. And man, did they wreck it on Colbert last night or what?

In case you missed it, you can see lead singer Robert Schneider's 2006 solo appearance.

As a 23-year-old hispanic college radio d.j., the Apples in Stereo are my cup of tea too!

And not all authors are interesting. I'd rather see a good musical act than a boring author pushing a stupid book I'll never read. (And who can deny that there have been some stupid guests on both those shows)

Why are we suddenly having musical guests on the Daily Show and the Colbert Report? I can see these acts on Leno or Letterman. I prefer book authors who are way more interesting and typically do not have other avenues to be seen.
