Snoop's New Track is Sikh
"Represent that Punjabi!" Snoop Dogg's gone Bollywood on all our asses. He's featured rapping in a new Bollywood Musical Comedy. Is it redundant specifying a Bollywood film is also a musical? The New York Times ran an interesting article about it a few days ago, but a new AP story has the real gem:
Clad in a maroon slim-fitted Indian kurta and beige trousers and a diamond-studded turban, Snoop Dogg lounges on an oversized armchair draped with blue and pink silk alongside Akshay Kumar, the movie's lead star…
First of all, I don't know who this Akshay Kumar thinks he is (I assume he thinks he's an Indian Bruce Willis), but he is not the lead star. Snoop Dogg never plays second fiddle.

I can't wait until the sequel, wherein Snoop falls in love with a beautiful princess, but must first drink the vial of enchantment in order to appease the snake king of Godavari River. I hear they resolve all their problems through dance.
