Hayes deserved whatever he got from Parker/Stone.

Had had no trouble trashing anything and everything else, then Scientology's turn comes and he crapped his pants. Lame.

Scientology may not be as bad as the main stream media paints it, but it definitely has some serious cookiness to it. Enough to warrant some satire.

Being a South Park fan and hailing from Memphis, I share in the thoughts of 99% of the loyal subjects making comments. He was a musical genius and a down to earth kinda guy.When I met him at his restarant,We talked about South Park a lot which seemed to make him laugh. You will be missed,Chef, and not just for South Park. Matt and Trey,do something nice for Mr. Hayes. Bye,Chef!

Just because the guy is dead doesn't mean that we should suddenly sanctify the ground he walked on. Isaac Hayes was a great guy, but let's not get carried away with these lofty praises and diatribes and make the memory of a man more glorious than the man himself.

Wow! I have to admit a feeling I guess similar to when John Lennon died. I had always hoped that South Park and Issac Hayes would make amends and Chef would return. Now that will never happen. The next season premere will have to address this and provide closure to the fans.

Perhaps they could spoof Star Trek 6 and Generations. Regarding Kirk dying, then reapearing and dying again. Doing the same thing with old lines of chef just a little more clean. And at the end Stan makes a comment that the original chef is gone for good, but there may be the possiblity for a new Chef a better Chef. Then paramount premires a new trailer for the next Star Trek movie. Cut back to Kyle who says scowling "nobody will buy it."

South park came out when i was in the sixth grade, i'm 24 now and i can say they helped shape the way I look at world, Chef is still great and always will be as long as south park shows remain. I always hoped he would come back, who knows maybe trey and matt will build a ladder to heaven, or do scientologiest go somewhere else? Anyways Issac will miss you and I know your in a happier place. I know trey and matt will have a nice dedication to you in the new season or at least a statue in the back round somewhere.

I also loved Hayes on SP, but Hayes was wrong in his objection to Matt & Trey's satire of Scientology. SP skeweres everything and everyone, so Hayes had no grounds for objection when they finally got around to Hayes' sacred cow. IMO, the faux episode with Chef was Matt & Trey's venting of their anger that a cult had claimed and essentially destroyed a good friend.
