I spent all summer playing drinking contests with myself in my parents basement. Whether I won or not, my parents were the real losers. According to The New York Times, "much of the 'SNL' cast and crew spent their summer vacation," producing the amazing comedy series The Line. The new web-series, which premiered it's final episode last night, stars Bill Hader and Joe Lo Truglio as two fans waiting in line for the next hotly anticipated sci-fi summer movie, "Future Space."

Drawing inspiration from the writer's strike picketing, Hader and SNL writer Simon Rich also based the series on real line-waiting experiences. Hader's waited in line for the three The Lord of The Rings and Star Wars entries. I'm no good at waiting in lines. My mom told me when they were handing out brains in heaven, I waited in the shame-your-parents-forever line instead.
