While the shitstorm surrounding Jon Stewart's critique of the American news establishment rages on, no less than the British Broadcasting Corporation offers up its own analysis of Jon Stewart, marveling at his sway over our youth and soiling their knickers over his wit. That's no small feat, as they prize wit over there like we love our guns.
Just listen to the life and times of The Daily Show host from the mouths of Tom Brokaw, pollster John Zogby and even Jon's mom. That's called reporting. One analyst describes TDS as "'Have I Got News for You' meets 'Newsnight'," which for all I know is a cockney rhyming slang for sausages and potatoes, but it sounds good.
