Everything's Coming Up Galifianakis
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zach Galifianakis is set for two projects. The first is Todd Phillip's The Hangover, co-starring Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms. The second is the upcoming HBO sitcom Bored to Death, where Galifianakis will play a struggling comic book artist. I'm really glad they are casting against type with this one. I am so tired of seeing James Van Der Beek playing struggling comic book artists. For reals.
The pilot also stars Ted "Cheers" Danson and Jason "California" Schwartzman. I'm excited for both projects, and I hope the sitcom has a long life. I love Galifiankis so much and he needs to be in everything ever. He is like Jesus, in that he lives in my heart. And plays the piano.
