Rickrollyoutube
In a discussion of the RickRoll, one of the most important internet memes (click here for definition) ever, the Guardian has a chat with Rick Astley to discuss how he feels about the whole business. Two things I learned that I did not know before: He's still a very handsome man, and he's left the music business behind for good.

His opinion on being rolled? "I suppose it's flattering that I've been chosen to be the butt of this joke," he says. Sadly, we don't know if he's ever experienced the Escherian hall of mirrors himself by being personally Roll'd. Rick also talks about various Rolls, from Obama to Fox New to Hitler, in what is an obvious progression.

Oddly enough, Peter Waterman, who wrote the song for Astley, wonders how much money from YouTube he should be getting every time someone is RickRoll'd. I'm sorry to tell you, sir, but you deserve no money. That song belongs to us now.
