I'm disappointed there aren't more Spidey fanboys in the thread, complaining about silly crossovers. Then again, Spider-Man used to be on "The Electric Company," a truly odd children's TV show from the 70s (YouTube it!), and I think once read a mini-comic featuring Spidey palling around with Count Chocula. So I just might have to buy #573. xD

*grins* I don't want to beat up Autif too much. All he's done is miss the obvious: one of Stephen's strongest appeals (as a character) is his gargantuan–nay, titanic–ego. The kind of hubris, pride, utterly unfathomable cockiness we saw in Geroge W. Bush, "The Decider," before he became the most powerful has-been on the globe. Stehpen rocks, and he has the cojones to admit he's a character, a faux neocon, a comedian. Too bad Rush Limbaugh and Papa Bill don't have the stones to admit it themselves. =^.^=

Colbert is kidding. It's a joke. How can anyone not understand that? I personally think it's funny on how self-absorbed he acts all the time. Anyone who doesn't get this is a joke shouldn't be wasting their time on the internets.

You,how do I put this lightly, hmmm, ARE A COMPLETE DUMBASS. How about not spending an hour coming up with something so serious to put on a COMEDY central website. Seriously, get a life. If you can't see this as an entertainment side to life, THEN QUIT POSTING SUCH SERIOUS SHIT ON COMEDY BASED WEBSITES. Hmmm… What a mindless obsession…To have yourself inserted into every bit of society… and to what end? To be remembered, to merely pervade through society… or what? Whatever the reason is, it seems very selfish and unproductive. I would welcome your pervading society if you had something to accomplish for society, but it's all about you, huh? I'd be a hypocrite if I said that I didn't want to pervade society. Unlike you, I don't care if I pervade society, but only my ideas because it is my ideas that would make society better for everyone (do you notice the difference in the type of pervasiveness? It is the difference between pervasiveness strictly for yourself and pervasiveness for others) Well, I'd like to be clear about one last thing. You can endeavor as much as you want to pervade society to your clearly self-satisfying ends, but your appearance in society will be worthless to me because your recurring appearances in society just seem like instances of your narcissism being expressed (a person merely shouting for attention through time and space). However, I leave it open to whether you can prove me wrong.
