She hit this one right on the head. The comedy on this show is not remotely funny. I"m disappointed, that a Ivy League Educated Black man DAG cannot come up with better material. I mean come on DAG the same useless stereotypes when most black people are in the middle class, don't live in inner city ghettos and for the most part don't act like the bulk of your characters. The difference between this show and Chappelle is in who is writing the show. It is not written by blacks nor is any of the creative background of this show controlled by blacks. It is typical white comedy stereotyping blacks with a black face. Seriously get a better show up. This show bits. Although the Maya sketch was funny, but that is about it. I'm damn sure not racist against my people, but I am offended when it's 2008 and I see nothing but stereotype after stereotype. Plus, it's neither funny nor smart, more like Amos and Andy in a new century.) Not only does the show's name suggest that it represents all black people, you have the nerve to suggest black people haven't been represented on TV. Negro, please. This is not the 1980's, and this is not "In Living Color." Comedy central may have a dearth of black people, but we are certainly showing up on the rest of cable. Is this the response over the guilt at not having a "black" show since Chappelle's show went off the air? Chappelle's Show, now that was a show that made fun of black people without stereotyping them. How on earth did this show ever make it into production?
