Since John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, I've wondered about the Monty Python connection. In an interview with Seesmic, John Cleese sorts out the eerie conspiracy. You know, Sarah Palin/Michael Palin, John McCain/John Cleese. And let's be fair, the only place in the world that Cindy McCain's dress from the Republican Convention would ever show up is a Terry Gilliam movie.

To further the parallels, Cleese compares Governor Palin to a parrot ("this parrot has ceased to be!") and claims that Monty Python could have created her. But did they? It would all make so much sense, but until I have confirmation, I will not title this post AK Gov Python Love Child.
